Yam and Nachiketa ; Awareness of self - realization ; Soul and Supreme Soul

In these dialogue between Yama and Nachiketa, man has not only been made aware of the soul and the Supreme Soul,  he also has been guided how to attain self-realization  .

When Nachiketa remained firm on his point, Acharya preached Brahmavidya to him.  
Shreya and Preya are two different paths.  Both are opposites which are also known as Vidya and Avidya, which attract human beings towards themselves. The Shreya Marga is the path to the transcendental welfare while the Preya Marga is the path that binds man to the world and removes man from the spiritual goal.  Dear Nachiketa!  You have taken the best path.  Self-knowledge is a rare thing, many do not even get to hear this knowledge, those who get the opportunity to hear it also do not know it well.  Somebody who knows about Self-realization is very rare, and the one who attains it is also a rare person.  Many people preach and contemplate the soul.  The soul is subtler than the atom.  Like God, this soul is also immortal, eternal, eternal and unborn.  It is neither born nor dies.  When the body is destroyed, the soul does not destroy, the soul neither dies nor  killed .  It resides in the heart space of the creature.  The powers of the soul are divine.  Even sitting in one place, a person reaches far away on the strength of spiritual power.  Even in his dormant state, it is the spiritual power that makes him travel everywhere.  
This body of man is the chariot and the soul is the master of charioteer , the intellect or wisdom  is like a charioteer, the mind has to be controlled by the charioteer .   The senses like horses make the chariot of the body run on the journey of life.  The most subtle of these are the conscious soul and Brahma.  There is nothing more subtle than the Supreme Soul, this is the final movement of the soul to achieve Him.   Therefore, the vision of God is possible only after self-realization.  Therefore, to reach one's main goal, one should keep striving continuously by following the Shreya Marg.
