Worship the character not the picture
Don't be materialistic, be a yogi
Be a true follower of Krishna.
India has been such a proud country where great men , yogies have been ascetics, who have attained many accomplishments by doing penance and on the basis of those siddhis have worked for the welfare of the people, society and the country; Worked for the welfare of mankind.
One such great man was there in our country whose birthday is celebrated with great pomp in the form of Krishna Janmashtami.
Krishna was such a yogi man, warrior and scholar who tried to save his subjects from the consequences of war, he took his subjects to Dwarka and established a new city there. Krishna destroyed many demons i.e. evil human instincts by his discretion. After killing Kansa, he relieved all the imprisoned persons. Shishupala was repeatedly given an opportunity to improve and tried to be reformed by warnings, but when there was found not any reduction in his crimes, then Krishna killed him with the Sudarshan Chakra. Means he used to try to rectify the culprits by advising them first but when no improvement was done , he used to punish them. When Duryodhana did not understand, the last way to protect true Dharma was left i.e. war, which He was compelled to adopt. Moreover after killing Kansa, he didn't sit on the throne but handed over the throne to his maternal grandfather Ugrasen, making him the king of the particular kingdom . We can say that he had no greed for the throne.
Shri Krishna is considered to be God, he is worshiped and such a personality is worshiped, who has no flaws, who can be followed, who always nurtures people, who is opulent. The truth is that there was no flaw in the character of Lord Krishna. There is no description of such an incident in the Mahabharata that any blame can be placed on his character. We all know that Karna's mother's name was Radha, that's why she was called Radheya. The character of Radha is heard, seen and read in the Mahabharata only as the mother of Karna. Krishna's only wife was Rukmani, then where did thie name of Radha come from in our history, which was associated with the name of Krishna??? Moreover there is nothing mentioned about Radha in the Bhagavata Purana. The name comes from the Brahmavaivarta Purana. In this Purana, Radha's relationship with Krishna has been shown in different sections in different ways, so this automatically gets suspected. In the 25th-26th verses of Brahmakhand-Adhyay 5 of this Purana, Radha was born from the left side of Shri Krishna, therefore Radha has been described as the daughter of Shri Krishna. According to Prakriti Khand - Chapter 48, Radha is described as the beloved of Krishna. According to verses 35, 36, 37, 40, 47 of Prakriti Khand - Chapter 49 of this Purana, Radha is presented as the maternal aunt of Shri Krishna because she was married to Krishna's mother Yashoda's brother Rayana. Therefore the position of Radha is not clear in this Purana. Therefore we all
need to study and think deeply about this fact. Yoga teaches us to control our senses. Yogiraj Krishna was a great yogi, a perfect & great man. It is highly condemnable to accuse his character of teasing, harassing, breaking the pots of gopies, stealing clothes of gopies and eating the butter by stealing.
Using a logical approach,
We should celebrate the festival of Janmashtami with great pomp & show knowing the true meaning. And it should be kept in mind that a civilized culture can emerge and be portrayed in front of our future generation. And at the same time we should take a vow that we should also try to become like Shri Krishna.
